Door stiles are a system used mostly in American panel doors and MDF doors to make the door leaves stronger, surrounding the door leaf and keeping it together. The door frame product category includes extended frames, solid frames, MDF frames, laminated frames, door casing frames, and door casings. Door frames produced using spruce, fir, and pine trees are cut into different sizes according to the height of the doors. There are many reasons why spruce and pine trees are most preferred in door frame production. Door sills made from these tree species have a low moisture content of between 8% and 14%, which makes the doors stronger. The full-length sill where the lock is located on the door is called the Lock Sill, while the part where the hinge is mounted is called the Hanging Sill. They are also divided into two types: Finger Joint and Solid (single piece).
Solid Door Stiles
Blank stiles made from spruce wood with a moisture content of 8-14% are prepared for manufacturing. They are shaped on a profiling machine to the desired mm dimensions and into a profile with 5 mm air circulation channels on the surface, and then released to the market in various sizes.
Finger-Joint Door Frame
Blank slabs made from spruce wood with a moisture content of 8-14% are prepared for production, defective areas are cleaned, and the slabs are joined end-to-end. The pieces, which are glued together to form a single piece, are then sent through the profiling machine a second time and turned into a profile with 5 mm air circulation channels and released onto the market in various sizes.
